Download DNote from the App Store or Google Play, or use our web app. Tap "Sign Up" and follow the onboarding steps. You can sign up as a DJ or a client — both are free to start.
Browse DJ profiles, check their availability, and tap "Book." You'll be able to message the DJ directly to confirm details before finalizing. Payment is handled securely through Stripe.
Complete your profile with genres, rates, a bio, and links to your mixes. Keep your availability calendar up to date so clients can find and book you. Premium DJs get boosted visibility in search results.
DNote is free to join. Free-tier DJs pay a 5% booking fee, while Premium DJs ($15/month) pay zero booking fees. Clients on the free tier pay a 16% service fee, reduced to 5% with a Client Premium plan ($25/month). Visit our Pricing page for full details.
All payments are processed through Stripe. Clients pay when a booking is confirmed, and DJs receive payouts directly to their linked bank account after the event, minus any applicable platform fees.
Open the booking in the app and tap the options menu. Both DJs and clients can request cancellations or reschedules. Any disputes are handled through our support team.
Go to your account settings in the app and select "Delete Account," or visit our account deletion page. All personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
DNote is currently focused on the New York City metro area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, and the Hamptons. We plan to expand to more cities in the future.
Yes! In addition to our iOS and Android apps, DNote is available as a web app that works in any modern browser. You can manage bookings, message DJs or clients, and access all features from your desktop or laptop.
